Privacy Requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning the personal information Inhabit, Inc. holds about you. This page provides one process for privacy requests from customers and visitors in the United States, Canada, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Japan, and other jurisdictions with applicable privacy rights.
Advertising and data-sharing choices
To opt out of certain data sharing, sale, or targeted advertising where applicable, visit Your Privacy Choices. Where required by law, we also recognize a valid Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser or device.
Submit a privacy request
Email hello@inhabitliving.com with the subject line Privacy Request. Please include:
- Your name and the email address used with Inhabit.
- Your state, province, or country of residence.
- The type of request you are making.
- Enough information to help us locate the relevant account, order, or interaction.
Please do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, or other sensitive documents with your initial request. We may request additional information to verify your identity. We use verification information only to process and document the request.
Available requests
Subject to applicable law and permitted exceptions, you may be able to request that we:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information and provide access to it.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Delete personal information.
- Provide a portable copy of certain information.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Explain the categories, sources, purposes, or recipients associated with your information.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Appeal a decision on a request where applicable.
United States
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws may have rights to know or access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. You may use an authorized agent where permitted. We may ask for proof that the agent is authorized and may verify your identity directly. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Canada
Canadian residents may request access to and correction of personal information, ask questions about our privacy practices, or withdraw consent subject to legal or contractual restrictions. We generally respond to a complete access request within 30 days unless an extension or exception is permitted by law. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the appropriate provincial privacy regulator.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or comparable law applies, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority where you live or work. We generally respond without undue delay and within one month, subject to lawful extensions.
Japan
Where Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information applies, you may have rights to request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or cessation of third-party provision, subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. You do not need a separate APPI form; use the same request method above.
Other regions
If your jurisdiction provides additional privacy rights, submit your request using the same method. We will evaluate it under the law that applies to the request.
Timing, appeals, and complaints
We respond within the period required by applicable law. If we need more time or cannot fulfill all or part of a request, we will explain the reason and any appeal or complaint options available to you. In some cases, a request may be limited or denied when an exception applies, including when information must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, warranty, or transaction purposes.
