A lot of work, but worth the time!I bought 75 wall flats (2nds on the outlet page) to apply to a basement media room wall both for acoustic and aesthetic purposes. Because the seconds were so reasonably priced, I was a little scared about the condition they'd be in,but was pleasantly surprised - with a little elbow grease, they look terrific! I used Liquid Nails and sandable caulk for application (as opposed to tile mastic) and they came out beautifully. I did hand paint primer and 2 coats of finish paint after application, so there was a lot of time spent on the whole installation & finish process, but the finished result was two terrific walls for less than $400! (The company ships at very reasonable rates in the Lower 48 - I had mine shipped to my sister's place & then checked them as baggage onto the plane to Alaska. Thus, my tiles were probably more like "3rds" by the time I got them home!) I will definitely be buying more of these when we redo our upstairs master bedroom. |

Very RetroA friend helped me put these up as an accent wall (6x9) and the tiles look fabulous and I haven't even painted them yet (might not-they look so good just the way they are) |
