HOW DO I ENTER?
1.) Each entrant should fill out the online entry form. Please follow the diagram on the entry form for formatting and sizing.

For entrants with no access to a computer they can be mailed to Inhabit, 1238 N Pennsylvania Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202, Attn: The Great Pillow Design Competition. Each series of designs must be submitted separately with its own entry form.

2.) The artwork you submit must be submitted in accordance with the entry rules, entries that do not follow this procedure will not be considered. By entering this competition, you agree to abide by these rules and you warrant and represent that (i) your entry is your original work and is not derived from any other prior work, (ii) you have the sole and exclusive rights to the material you are submitting, (iii) these rights have been legally obtained and created, and (iv) publication of the material via various media will not infringe on any third party rights, including, without limitation, contractual rights, copyrights and other intellectual property rights, publicity and privacy rights, and rights against libel, defamation, and slander.

3.) By entering this competition and accepting the Prize, you grant Inhabit the right to edit, publish, promote, and otherwise use your entry either as submitted or in edited form without further permission, notice, or compensation, including but not limited to Inhabit's printed materials, future products and on the World Wide Web. If you win the competition, you further grant to Inhabit the right to sell products incorporating your work and to create derivative works for commercialization, without further permission, notice or compensation.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
Information provided on the official entry form may appear on the following website: www.inhabitliving.com and in Inhabit's Spring 2007 catalog. It may also appear on other blogs or media outlets as news. Inhabit accepts no responsibility for incorrect information provided on entry forms. Inhabit assumes that all works are original and have been designed by the stated entrant, with all rights guaranteed there-in. Inhabit is not liable for violations of any third party rights, including, but not limited to claims of copyright, trademark, patent infringement, defamation, trade secrets, or trade dress on the part of the entrant. Inhabit assumes that all designs and information provided with entries are free of any third-party rights. The entrant also agrees to inform Inhabit if any of the information provided becomes false or incomplete. The entrant also understands that even if they win, Inhabit can choose not to conduct the competition or discontinue it at any time. The entrant also understands that all decisions by Inhabit are final and not subject to challenge or appeal. If the design is a collaboration of multiple individuals, then the entry form must be credited accordingly. Any violation of the above rules will result in immediate exclusion of the identified applicants design(s). Inhabit is continuously developing new designs and has a large catalog of existing designs, therefore Inhabit accepts no responsibility for new designs that may resemble a design submitted for this competition. If Inhabit was interested in using an exact design submitted for this competition at a later date, the applicant would be notified and reimbursed accordingly.

Entrants agree (a) that Inhabit, its affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, insurance companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents have no liability whatsoever for, and are released and shall be held harmless by participants against any claims or liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, to persons, or property, including but not limited to death or rights of publicity or privacy resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any of the prize, participation in The Great Pillow Design Competition, or in any related activity, and those acting pursuant to Inhabit's authority to use the finalist's name, photograph, voice and/or likeness and any likeness, drawing or description of finalist's designs for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation, at any times or time, in all media now known or hereafter discovered world wide and on the Internet and World Wide Web without notice or review or approval. All finalists will be required to complete, sign, and return a liability release, and a photo/publicity release, where lawful. If releases are not returned within seven (7) days of date of notification, or winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. All taxes on prizes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Contest entrant must be 18 years or older.

As a condition to entry, all finalists must agree to transfer all rights to their designs exclusively to Inhabit for manufacture and sale by Inhabit if Inhabit desires to manufacture and sell such design. In addition, all finalists must enter into a Winner's Agreement, Release/Indemnity and Publicity Consent. Should Inhabit choose to manufacture and sell the design submitted by a finalist (which decision is solely in the discretion of Inhabit), then the finalist will be entitled for a (2) two years period to a royalty of 3% of the actual sales price of the design paid and received by Inhabit (or its agent), less sales taxes, returns and refunds, subject to the entering into of an agreement between Inhabit and the finalist with all customary terms and conditions. Such agreement will require that the finalist transfer all rights to the design to Inhabit.
