Overall RatingSueon 4/24/2015Purchased Chrysalis for freshening up a computer room!
Wow! Easy to install with the recommended mastic and what an instant
and dramatically stunning change.
Will likely purchase a different design for a redo in my sitting room off bedroom!

Designed frames in various sizes for tiles
I thought this was going to be a loss of money but,
Everything turned out easy and looks great .
I found instead of a sanding sponge 0000 steel wool works best on any fuzz that raises it polishes product down without disturbing the fibers and to use sparkling paste not sheet rock mud to heavy and wet .

Overall Rating Overall RatingDyannon 9/10/2013After ordering samples of a few wall flats, I decided on the Chrysalis. Even though you can make cut outs for electrical outlets, the faceplates would not sit flush with the design so we purchased chrome schleuder (spelling??) at home depot. 8 ft segment is $15 ( we needed 3) and it has a lip for the edge of the wall flat to sit right in. I did a 5 tile wide by 8 tile high flanked by the trim for a feature wall in the dining room. I avoided the outlets. After priming, caulk, sanding and two coats of white high gloss it looks amazing. They are very easy to install and did need to use a few nails to make everything perfect, but WOW. You don't need to paint, but It looks so much criper and feels firmer with the priming and painting. Wish I could load a picture. The shipments were fast and packaged well without any tiles damaged. Would order again. Certain patterns lend themselves to the seams being less obvious. This was one where you don't see the seams.
Overall Rating Overall Rating Overall RatingDesigneron 8/5/2012This is my second purchase of the wall flat product and I love it. I use them in model home merchandising for builders. I typically add a builder flat stock moulding in 2", painted and inside the detail I use the wall flats. My first purchase I used the Hive wall flats in a bonus room. I've used the Chrysalis in a girl's bedroom . THinking about using Stich next. No problem to install, just have to use the correct adhesive (which we did not at first). I didn't paint mine, they look amazing as is. Huge focal point in a home.
